We provide cut to fall insulation materials, based on your projects requirements/specification and roof type.
Warm Roof Products
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is one of the main materials we supply. It is cost effective light weight, durable and easy to install. We supply EPS in 100, 150 and 200 grades depending upon the roof requirements. This can come in a variety of gradients such as 1:60, 1:80 or 1:120. Other gradients are available if required.
Polyisocyanurate (PIR) is a rigid foam insulation with a low thermal conductivity. As it is a better insulator than EPS, the thicknesses of this material can be significantly less. This can be used as a standalone warm roof insulation product or can also be bonded to EPS to create a Hybrid Solution.
Hybrid insulation solutions include a flat layer of PIR, fixed or bonded, to a tapered EPS board.
This is a popular solution as you can utilise the cost effectiveness of EPS insulation whilst still having the thermal efficiency of PIR insulation. This can often be the most desirable solution when working to certain U-values.
PIR is also available with a variety if finishes so we can supply you with the one that is compatible with the waterproofing solution you are using.
An Inverted Roof is where the insulation is placed on top of the water proofing system as opposed to underneath in a Warm Roof. This has the advantage of prolonging the life of the waterproofing, as it is the insulation that bears the brunt of the weather. For paved roofs this is the ideal solution. Inverted roofs are normally laid with flat blocks of high grade Extruded Polystyrene (XPS), so laid without falls, although a tapered version is available.
